AARTNODES accepts the submission of original work written in Catalan, Spanish, English, Italian or French that adhere to the editorial style of the journal displayed at Presentation. The texts must abide by the publication rules set out in this section and must be sent to artnodes@uoc.edu.
The aim of ARTNODES is to publish original work: articles received that are currently being approved by another journal will be invalidated. Exceptionally, the Editorial Board may recommend the translation of an article that appears in another publication, due to its relevance.
All articles received go through a peer review process by assessors who have been appointed by the Editorial Board, which will try in all cases to reply quickly to authors: under no circumstances will this be any longer than six weeks after the reception of the original.
Contents published in ARTNODES are subject to a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-NoDerivativeWorks 2.5 Spain licence, the complete text of which can be consulted at http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/2.5/es/deed.en. This permits copying, distribution and public communication providing that the author of the text and the e-journal that publishes them (Artnodes) are cited, as stated in the recommended reference included in each article, but they cannot be used for commercial purposes or derived work.
Authors are responsible for obtaining the necessary licences for the images that are subject to copyright.
The originals submitted must contain the following information:*
The originals must be submitted in electronic file form and must not exceed the established lengths (5,000 words for articles; 1,000-3,000 words for observations; 500-1,000 words for reviews).
The graphics, tables and images that are inserted into the text must also be sent in a separate file, numbered and with a footnote to identify them with the contents. The tables should be numbered using Roman numerals (Table I) and the graphics using Arabic numerals (Figure 1).
Bibliographic references have to be presented in line with the ISO 690:1987 standard [International Standard Organisation. Information and documentation - Bibliographic references (content, form and structure)] for documents on paper and the ISO 690-2:1997 standard for electronic documents, as shown in the following examples:
